The Boston Opera Collaborative's performance of Bizet's Carmen, with dinner beforehand at 224 Boston Street.

BOC restored the historical Opera-Comique version of Carmen, omitting the sung recitatives that were added later by a different composer. With its original spoken dialogue, Boston audiences can now witness the same electrifying Carmen that rocked Paris audiences in 1875.
